Yesterday we had Festibond. For breakfast we went to Eggspectations. I had bacon and scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese on top. It was delicious.
We came back late so we didn’t have lunch. We gathered our presents and started reading letters and giving presents to each person. Dad said our present is coming late; Mom said they are giving us a microscope. When we went shopping on Friday, Mom and I stopped to look at a microscope. Mom told me, “We will get one of those for you girls someday.”
Meanwhile, on Saturday, Mom cooked homemade mac & cheese. Later Hayley helped Mom dip cookies into chocolate.
We played Uno. Skye won. We played it about three or four times. Then we started playing Uno Rummy-up. I helped Hayley because I didn’t feel like playing. Each time it was not Hayley’s turn I would color, each time it was Hayley’s turn I would help her.
Mom put goodies on the table for us including fudge and cookies (which Hayley helped Mom with different kinds of cookies, and I think that’s all).
So we ate dinner. First I made cards for Mom and Dad that said, “Happy Anniversary. I love you.” Because it was their anniversary, too. Macaroni was good! People also had salad.
I wanted to make new presents out of the old wrapping paper used that day. I made three nice and neat presents for me.
My two sisters and I watched “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.” It was fun. My favorite part of the movie is when the Grinch started liking Christmas. My second favorite part was when the Grinch stole all their presents and he stole all the trees and all their Christmas meals.
The day was fun.

Excellent post, Jenna. You are a talented writer.
I’m glad you enjoyed Festibond this year. I hope it is a tradition we continue and that you are always excited to celebrate.
I love you!
Jenna it sounds like you had a really wonderful Festibond. Maybe someday I could have it with you. I miss you. Love, Grandma
Jenna, I’m glad you like homemade macaroni and cheese now instead of just the kind out of the box. :-)
That was so sweet of you to make anniversary cards for Daddy and me. You are so thoughtful! I loved our day together and I’m glad you enjoyed it too.
