I had an awesome time in Florida. It was fun and relaxing, and the weather was warm.

We arrived in Florida on Tuesday. Heypop, Nana, and my family met my Uncle Ken and Aunt Heidi at Subway for lunch. I got to see my cousins Cathryn and James. I’m a picky eater, but I enjoyed my turkey and cheese sandwich, Doritos, and a juice box. My meal came with a toy that I gave to Jenna. Cathryn came back to Heypop and Nana’s house with us, and I had fun playing with her.

Daddy asked me if I wanted to ride the water craft. I thought it would be fun, so I got a life vest and climbed on with Daddy and Mommy. At first I thought it was fun, and Daddy told me I could drive. Dad told me there were alligators in the lake which made me nervous that I would fall in and be eaten. I told Dad I wanted to go back, so he turned around and let me off.

We went to Kennedy Space Center. I rode in Patsy’s Jeep with Uncle Scott, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Michael, Kim, and Mufasa (their dog). Mufasa was out of his bag, so he slept on my lap. When we arrived, we found out that they are now charging admission to go in the museum. Instead of going in, I played with Mufasa.

It was fun to see Heypop, Nana, my aunts, uncles, and cousins. I really liked babysitting my little cousin James. I played the game “Pit” with Uncle Michael, Kim, Daddy, Mommy, Uncle Scott, and Aunt Kelly. I also enjoyed playing “Stratego” with Uncle Ken. I watched my aunts and uncles play “Hearts“, too.

One thing I really enjoyed was playing with the dogs. Mufasa, Uncle Michael and Kim’s dog, is my favorite. Kim taught me how to pick up Mufasa, and I carried him around a lot. He’s very little, and the hair on his face looks like a lion’s. When Mufasa wasn’t there, I could always get Buffy (Heypop and Nana’s dog) to sit in a chair with me. I took her on two walks around the neighborhood. During the walks I searched for golf balls. On the second walk Heypop let me run around a field to find them. I ended up finding six altogether.

Before we left I took everyone’s individual picture and got each of their phone numbers. That way, their picture shows up on my phone when they call.

We stopped in Washington D.C. on the drive home. I was so impressed when I saw the White House where President Obama lives. I also liked the Washington Monument because it reminded me of the movie, “Forrest Gump.”

I’m glad we took this trip. I had such a great time!
