I love my family most of all. I also dig flying and photography and reading and developing dynamic websites. My favorite place in the whole world, besides wherever Kirsten happens to be, is Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.
My favorite city is Boston. I lived in Massachusetts in the early nineties for a couple years. For a few months I lived in Boston’s financial district. I just love it. Unsurprisingly, I’m a fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Bruins and the Boston Celtics.
I was an avionics technician on KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft in the United States Air Force for eleven years, both active duty and as a reservist. I enjoyed traveling and being around the smell of burning jet fuel.
I earned my private pilot certificate in 1998.
I’ve lived in many states, but most of my time has been spent in Alaska, Florida, Colorado, Massachusetts and Kansas. My favorite state, by far, is Maine.
In 2006 I earned a bachelor of science degree from Wichita State University where I majored in computer science and minored in mathematics. I also have an associate of science degree from the Community College of the Air Force in avionics systems technologies.
I regularly post at my blog. It can be a bit edgy at times and is always unabashedly candid.
