At Hayley’s recent parent/teacher conference we were told Hayley likes to play “compare”. It is a card game in which the students each flip a card and the student with the higher card gets them both. It’s a lot like the familiar card game War. So, today, I taught Hayley how to play War. And she beat me.
Good job, Hayley. I had a lot of fun with you. You were very fast at determining which was the higher card. Mrs. Arnold is correct, you are competitive!
About the drawing: I didn’t have enough room for the other three turkeys. The Indian is holding a bucket of corn. The reason it’s colorful is because they put fish with the corn seeds to grow the corn.
I like the family blog because our friends and cousins, and even other people can know more about us. I like putting pictures on and writing about things I do in my life. I want people to know about my favorite things.
About the drawing: Mom asked me to draw a picture about myself for the blog. That’s me at Fairfield School. We’re lining up. I’m the caboose, that’s why there isn’t anybody behind me. In the foreground is our playground.
